The Acting President, Pro. Yemi Osinbajo says there is no plan to remove the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu. According to The Guardian, the Acting President made the statement on Thursday at the Commissioning of the Zonal Office of the EFCC in Kaduna.

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Peter Fayose has banned all students activities and public procession in the state.  The ban was disclosed in a press statement released on Thursday by the Special Assistant Public Communication and New Media to Ekiti State Governor, Lere Olayinka.

The decision of the Nigerian Senate to request the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo to withdraw his statement regarding the power of the Senate to screen and confirm some appointments made by the President may have thrown the Presidency into confusion as key players including the Acting President, the Attorney General of the Federation, Malami and Garba Shehu have continued to disagree.
