Former President, GoodluckEbeleJohnathanlaunched a book titled 'My Transition Hours' today, at Transcorp Hilton Abuja. The book launch was graced by several dignitaries who poured encomiums on Jonathan for the singular act of conceding defeat which many at the occasion described as the height of statesmanship expressed by the former Nigerian leader.
The Book Launch which coincided with the61st birthday of Jonathanwas graced by dignitaries including Former President OlusegunObasanjo, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Gen. AbdussalamAbubakar, Gen. Ibrahim BadamasiBabangida, represented by his daughter, Aisha Babangida, Former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar,NamadiSambo as well as dignitaries across Africa like the Former Ghanaian President, John DramaniMahama.

The guest of Honour of the event was President MuhammaduBuhari who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss GidaMustapha.
The book talked on the 2015 General elections, GEJ conceding defeat and the momentPresident MuhammaduBuhariemerged as the winner of the Presidential election.
Obasanjo in his goodwill message said there are 4 stages in the life of any president, the first is during campaign when one canvas support, the second is when one wins and becomes president, the third is immediately when one leaves office and the fourth is life after office which he averred that GEJ is currently experiencing.
Also speaking, Former Head of State, AbdulsalamAbubakar described the former President as one who loved his country more than himself.
During the launch, Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson made a donation of land title for the establishment of the GoodluckJohnathan Foundation (GJF), and the sum of N100m as takeoff fund to the foundation. The Governor also purchased 1000 copies of the book and announced the sum of N5 million as a monthly grant to the foundation.
While giving his remarks, the celebrant blamed Former President BarackObama of USA for interfering in the 2015 election. He also urged youths to purchase the book so as to learn from past mistakes and aid in the development of the country.
