Ondo Decide: Voting Process Has Since Commenced In Ondo South LGA

Accreditation and voting have commenced in most of the pooling units in Akure South Local Government Area, LGA as Ondo state indigenes decide who shall preside over their affairs in the next four years.

Vigi360 correspondence reported that the accreditation voting process commenced as early as 7:30 am in most of the polling units in the said local government.

It was revealed that the accreditation and voting were done concurrently citing an example that at pooling unit 13 located on Adekunle Ajasin Road near the Nepa office, the processes were commenced as early as 08;30 hours.

On the same road at polling unit 14 named water corporation unit, the process was commenced by 08:35 am.

NAN also reports that as early as 7:25 am, election materials had arrived at polling unit 001, Ago Ireti, Lisa close to Adult, Technical and Vocational Education Skills Acquisition Centre located along Oba-Ile Road, Akure south LGA.

Accordingly, at the same time, INEC staff were obviously seen setting up the unit while prospective voters were also seen checking their names pasted on a wall nearby to confirm their eligibility.

Similarly, ad-hoc staff had also arrived at polling station unit 002 close to Mobil Petroleum station located along Owo road as early as 07:50 am.

At all centers visited in the Ondo South LGA, a heavy presence of security were all observed while voters were conducting themselves.
