25 Directors in the Federal Civil Service sat for the Information Communication Technology (ICT) Proficiency test to enter the next phase of screening for permanent secretaries’ positions. Only 11 candidates scaled through this phase.
The remaining 11 candidates are scheduled to take part in the final stage, an oral interview scheduled for Monday.
After the oral interview, 5 officials are expected to emerge as new permanent secretaries. These 5 new permanent secretaries are expected to fill vacancies from 5 affected states: Ekiti, Katsina, Nasarawa, Enugu, and Lagos.
This was disclosed in a document titled: “Re: Selection exercise for the appointment of permanent secretaries in the federal civil service.”
The document read, “Following the conduct of ICT proficiency test for the appointment of permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service on June 3, 2021, I am directed to invite the following 11 candidates for the oral interview.
“Accordingly, the candidates are to report for the interview on Monday, June 7, 2021, by 8 am at the Olusegun Obasanjo Hall, Block ‘A’, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Federal Secretariat Complex (Phase II), Abuja.”
Candidates could only be identified with their service numbers on the document.
