APC Releases Amended Timetable For Primary Elections

Ahead of the 2023 general election, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the forthcoming election.

This information was revealed in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka in the nation's capital, stating that the governorship, state delegates, house of assembly, and local government area delegates primaries would hold 26th May 2022. More so, explained that the election of Senate and local government delegates would take place on 27th May, as House of Representatives and local government delegates primaries would hold on 28th of May.

APC spokesman stated, "The NWC of the APC on Monday, May 23, approved a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the governorship, State House of Assembly, Senate, and House of Representatives primary elections.

Morka also confirmed that the party's special convention for the presidential primary has been scheduled for the 29th and 30th of May 2022.
