President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dauda Biu, as the acting Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) following the retirement of Boboye Oyeyemi on July 24, 2022. This was disclosed on Monday by the former FRSC Corps Marshal, Oyeyemi during the handover ceremony at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja.
Biu’s appointment takes effect from July 24 and prior to his appointment as acting Corps Marshal, he was the Deputy Corps Marshal, Finance and Accounts, FRSC.
He appreciated the management of the FRSC and the Presidency on his appointment and pledged to consolidate on the progress made by the outgoing Corps Marshal.
Biu joined the FRSC in 1988 and obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
