The Nigerian Army said it has killed several top commanders of the Boko Haram group in offensives carried out during the week at suspected terrorists’ locations in collaboration with the Nigerian Air Force.

A statement released on Thursday by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman, listed the neutralised Boko Haram leaders to include Abu Dujana, Man Tahiru (Deputy to Boko Haram terrorist group Hisba leader), Man Chari, Malam Abdullahi Abu Sa'ad and Goni Bamanga.

The said the Army had carried out heavy artillery bombardments, supported by air interdictions by the Air Force on the targets which also killed a large number of terrorists alongside the said commanders.

Although the Army spokesman did not disclose the targeted terrorists’ hideout, he said the Military would sustain its offensive at the location until the terrorists are completely eliminated.
