The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu on Saturday described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the greatest election rigger in the country. The former Lagos state governor who was responding to
Obasanjo's recent allegations that President Muhammadu Buhari administration was desperately looking for opportunities to perpetuate itself in government by rigging the poll, said even a beneficiary of Obasanjo's electoral fraud later admitted that the process that led to his emergence was flawed.
Speaking at the party's presidential rally held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium he said
“When he was asked, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua admitted that the election which brought him into office was rigged.
“Who conducted that election? Obasanjo. Obasanjo is the greatest election rigger in this country.”
Dignitaries present at the event include the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, National Leader of APC, Chief Bola Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, APC Lagos Governorship Candidate, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu, Gov. Atiku Bagudu, Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Kebbi, Oyo and Ekiti states, respectively.
