All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has confirmed Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate. According to NAN, the vice-presidential candidate will be unveiled to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party in his hometown in Daura, Katsina State on Sunday.
The senator and the two-term Governor of Borno State played a lead role in the pre-presidential primaries campaign of Tinubu.
APC who has earlier submitted the name of Kabir Masari, who is from Katsina State, as a placeholder vice presidential candidate, will be unveiling Shettima in the coming days.
