The Nigeria Shooting Federation (NSF) says it is making plans to host the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) summit in April. The federation’s President, Lonsdale Adeoye, said this recently in Abuja on the sidelines of the maiden NSF media workshop and competition.

Nigeria’s bobsled team of Seun Adigun and Akuoma Omeoga made history on Tuesday as they finished 20th in official Heats 1 and 2 on Tuesday at the 2018 Winter Olympics Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The pair finished with a time of 52.21 second in Heat 1 and 52.55 in Heat 2 as against the time of 52.96 and 53.60 seconds recorded in Sunday’s training Heats 3 and 4.

Red Bull Racing has revealed the car it hopes will take it to the 2018 Formula One World Championship. It's the third team to reveal its car for this season, following Haas and Williams. Sticking with its existing naming scheme, the car is called the RB14 and may well be the last Red Bull to use Renault power units.

Former club of Sunday Oliseh, Fortuna Sittard, has threatened to take legal action against the former Super Eagles’s star over his claims that the Dutch second division club wanted him to violate the law. The club in a statement said they had fired him for “innumerable culpable acts” and a “disrupted employment relationship” with the players and other employees on Wednesday. The club denied that they decided to part ways with the Nigerian due to his “refusal to participate in illegal activities.”
