Nigerian born New Zealan-based Professional Mixed Martial Artist, Israel Adesanya has added another win to his UFC middleweight glory by defeating his mentor Anderson Silva, Saturday night in the UFC 234 in Melbourne, Autralia.

According to Newshub, the fight was upgraded to the main event after the fight of the night between Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum was canceled due to a hernia by Whittaker.

Adesanya established the first strike with leg kicks in efforts to take Silva of his comfort zone, but both fighters quickly got into their zones as they entertained the audience with unconventional techniques.

The middleweight fighters adopted playful jeer, making each rounds last. However, Silva could not keep up with Adesanya's pace at the third round. This made it easier for Adesanya to land bigger shot and win unanimously.
Meanwhile, Adesanya remains undefeated.
