Nigeria’s bobsled team of Seun Adigun and Akuoma Omeoga made history on Tuesday as they finished 20th in official Heats 1 and 2 on Tuesday at the 2018 Winter Olympics Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The pair finished with a time of 52.21 second in Heat 1 and 52.55 in Heat 2 as against the time of 52.96 and 53.60 seconds recorded in Sunday’s training Heats 3 and 4.

The pair (Adigun and Omeoga), making their official debut at the Winter Olympics, improved on their timing from the official training heats despite finishing bottom in the standings in heat 1 and 2 respectively. They will compete in the second day of women’s bobsled competition on Wednesday.

The Nigerian duo will take part in Heats 3 and 4 on Wednesday.
