Falcons Defeat Korea 2-0

Nigeria's Women Football team, Super Falcons have on Wednesday defeated South Korean 2-0 to, in efforts to work towards qualifying for the knockout stage of the 2019 Women's World Cup.

 

The first goal was by Korea's own Kim Do-Yeon in the 29th minute, while the second was by the Falcon's Asisat Oshoala in the 75th minute.

 

Falcon's goalkeeper, Nnadozie was fully on guard with her saves as the Koreans were persistent with their efforts to score.

 

Thomas Dennerby, head coach of the Falcons was satisfied with the players' abilities to be disciplined and follow instructions and match plans.

 

The Falcons are set to face France in their final group match on June 17, at the Roazhon Park in Rennes, while Korea will be facing Norway
