The former Gunners striker, Charlie Nicholas has seen signs of encouragement since Mikel Arteta took the reins but admits consistency remains an issue across the board. Arsenal “are not good enough to make the top four”, says Nicholas, with the coach needing more from the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe.
