Laliga: Messi Will Retire Here – Barcelona President

Barcelona president, Josep Bartomeu, has revealed that Lionel Messi will retire at his club in three or four years to come. The right-winger has a deal with the Nou Camp side until the end of June 2021 but is yet to sign the contract extension. The 33yrs has been speculated to be moving away from Spain this summer.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan club are believed to be monitoring Messi’s move and his future at the Barca and are ready to bring him to their fold for a good deal.

However, Bartomeu does not think Messi would leave.

According to him, he said, “It is not just me that says so. Leo has always said, that he wants to end his professional career in Barcelona. “I think it’s the club of his life. It’s a man for a club and it’s the best club for him.

While talking to beIN Sports, Bartomeu added, “I am certain that the contract extension will happen. I have no doubt that Leo Messi in three, four, many years to come will retire at Barcelona
