International and currently Africa’s leading bookmaker 1xBet has bagged the sponsorship rights of the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON), which will take place between 9th January – 6th February 2022 in Cameroon. The tournament was initially scheduled for 2021 before being postponed due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic which caused a lot of shift of events across the globe.

The company has cooperating with CAF since 2019, and has been among the sponsors of its major events like the Africa Cup of Nations, the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup, the CAF Super Cup, and the African Nations Championship.

Under the new terms of the agreement, the betting company with over 14 years of experience will pace adverts in stadiums where the matches will take place, on TV, tickets and various graphic materials. And for its part, 1xBet will do everything to make the tournament even more interesting for viewers.
