Former Super Eagle midfielder, Austin Jayjay Okocha has hinted that Senegal will have their way with England ahead of their showdown today in the Qatar 2022 world cup currently in the knockout stage. Okocha said Senegal will have no headache being the number one footballing team in Africa is not a measure to England. The Terenga Lions and the three Lions of England will be up for a clash at the Al-Bayt stadium, in Qatar as other sources have predicted a win to the United Kingdom team in contrary to Okocha’s view.

Senegal pushed its way through lashing Ecuador 2-1 with Kalidou Koulibaly scoring the goal on its side while England topped the group after sending Whales packing.

Speaking to Super Sport, Okocha said, “Number one team in Africa, I think they have what it takes to win the game because I don’t think it will be upset if Senegal wins.

“They have got players that play in the Premier League, players that know the English players and they know what they are coming up against, and they have looked at them.

“The England team is predictable in my opinion. They don’t have players that have got so much flair to decide games so they rely on that team structure. Senegal has a good chance, Okocha added.

The former Nigerian international explained that the English side is not as aggressive as the Senegal team, though has adopted a form of complete football.

The Terenga’s though are not with Sadio Mane due to injury and Munich Talisman but the Everton midfielder, Idriss Gueye will be readily available to clash in the den of Lion today.
