Manchester United will face city rival, Man City in a mouthwatering, first-ever FA Cup derby final after a hard-fought penalty victory against Brighton in Wembley on Sunday. United will be looking towards completing a domestic double on June 3 after winning the League Cup earlier in the season, while Manchester City "may" be seeking a treble.

City, who had defeated Sheffield United 3-0 on Saturday in the other semi-final, is now within reach of a historical treble. Pep Guardiola's side is within five points' reach of table-topping Arsenal with two (2) games in hand which also include them facing Arsenal. City will also be playing Real Madrid in this year's UEFA Champions League semi-final, for a place in the final. City is just 12 games from winning only the second treble in English football history.

United will however, after the Europa League exit, look for ways to prevent City from emulating its own treble of 1998-99, just as it prevented Liverpool from winning a treble in the FA Cup final in 1977.

Not only will there be drama on the pitch, off the pitch drama has begun as the English FA is looking for ways to push for an earlier kick-off other than the 5.30 pm time to avoid crowd trouble. It is also believed that aside from football fans clashing, there may be inter-sport fans clash, with the Derby at Epsom, which the Jockey Club have listed as being run at 4:30 pm.
