Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku says it is incorrect to describe him as a finished article following his recent goal drought. Speaking with Thierry Henry, Belgium's Assistant Manager, Lukaku said he is only 24-years-old with many rooms for improvement.

According to him "You can't judge me as the finished article."

"I think a lot of people are judging me as the finished article. I'm 24 you can't judge me as the finished article. I'd rather have a year where I improve, improve, improve rather than going straight to the top and then declining"

"I know I have a lot of talent. I can do a lot of stuff, score goals with my left, right and head, but I want to be a creator -- I want to have more assists. I want to make sure when my team is having difficulties they can count on me"

"I'm on the perfect stage and the perfect age. I want to be a winner and take my career to the next level."

Lukaku who moved to Old Trafford from Everton this summer made an impressive start at his new club, scoring 11 goals in all competitions. He has however failed to score a single goal since September 30.

Manchester United will travel to Chelsea on Sunday for a crucial Premiership tie. Chelsea have endured a poor run this term coupled with injury woes. The defending Champions are currently 9 points behind league leaders Manchester City. Manchester United would also play to win in order to sustain pressure on City.
