Chelsea playmaker, Eden Hazard says he is aware Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourihno would try to cage him when both sides lock horns on Sunday in a crucial Premier League encounter but insisted that he had devised a way of dealing with such tactics. The Belgium International admitted that Mourihno had effectively frozen him out in April, by deploying Ander Herrera to man-mark him, leading to their 2-0 victory. He however said all that have changed.
Speaking with Sky Sports, the 26-years-old player said;
"I don’t know, depends on the strategy that they can have, I remember last year at Old Traffor, maybe yes, but if that happens I need to find a solution to shine. That’s my reason. Last year at Old Trafford we didn’t find [a solution]. So I hope on Sunday we can find something good, not just me but the eleven players on the pitch to win this game. When asked if he was thinking about the strategy that would be used to stop him" Hazard said
‘I’ll just react on the pitch in the moment. Because you never know the strategy before the game. So when you are focused on the game you are thinking about scoring goals or creating a chance, you see what happens.’
Chelsea seek to overcome their dismal performance in recent past to keep their hope of defending the title alive, having fallen nine points behind league leaders, Manchester City. Manchester United are currently trailing City with five points and a win could close the gap to keep their title chase on course.
