Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah has revealed the identities of his football idols and what he intends to achieve with the reds. Salah who scored twice against Tottenham last weekend made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with Marca. Speaking on his Idols, the Egypt international listed them to include Ronaldo, Zidane and Totti. On why they are his preferred players he said;

"Because they were different, each one had his qualities. To anyone you ask, I would say wow! Awesome! Great players, you could feel the magic in every game. I was also able to play with Totti, which was a dream. When I was a child he was my idol so playing by his side was huge. I learned a lot from him. I am very proud to play with one of my idols. It makes me really happy that any of them talk about me."

The former Chelsea player disclosed that his ambition was to take Egypt beyond the group stage at the FIFA World Cup and then to beat Harry Kane to the highest goal scorer award.  "Now I want to be in a good position in the Premier League and help my international team to pass the first phase in the World Cup in Russia. Those are my goals for now, then we'll see."

"He is a great player, in the last two years he has already been the top scorer. Kane plays as a No.9 and has more chances to score goals than me. In my mind I want to win it, but we will see what happens." Speaking on his preferred position and why he did not perform while at Chelsea, Salah said;

"I feel very comfortable when I play on the right, I can also play 10, or as a forward ... But I prefer a little more on the right. I didn't do well because I didn't play many games. I was there for one year, but I only played during the first six months. After that, I hardly participated. I went to Fiorentina, scored goals, then in Rome I played very well and returned to England. But it's not a matter of succeeding or not..."
