Super Eagles winger Nura Mohammed, 15, made his professional debut for El Kanemi Warriors in their 1-0 loss to Enugu Rangers in the Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.

About a week ago, the youngster was on the bench as Nigeria were beaten by Morocco in the final of the African Nations Championship.

Despite El Kanemi Warriors losing to an 82nd minute goal scored by Kelvin Itoya, Nura Mohammed gave a good account of himself so much so that Rangers fans asked the players to pay special attention to the number 32.

According to the NPFL official website, Nura models his game after Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich dazzler Arjen Robben.

He honed his skills at the League Management Company (LMC) La Liga Under-15 tournament held in Lagos last year, helping the North East reach the semifinals of the competition.

He was promoted to El Kanemi's first-team after catching the eye in a friendly between the main team and Feeders before his invitation to the Super Eagles on the back of his performance at the Ahlan pre-season tournament.

Nura came off the bench in two of Nigeria's group matches at the African Nations Championship, against Equatorial Guinea and Rwanda.
