U-19 Cricket Qualifier: Nigeria Floored Botswana By 10 Wickets

Ongoing Nigeria’s U-19 cricket team has continued to lash their opponents at the ICC U-19 World Cup African Division Two qualifiers in Abuja. The Nigerian team has defeated Rwanda during the opening match on Friday as well as Botswana yesterday, winning both games by 10 wickets. At Cricket pitch B of the Moshood Abiola stadium, Abuja, the clash saw Nigeria win the toss and elect to bowl.
Elochukwu Ndububem and Captain Ridwan Kareem thrashed the Botswana contingent, jointly making out six wickets in 11 overs.


Meanwhile, the Botswana team rallied around Karabo Makwatse and Leungo Mosalaesi to emerge with 36 runs in 25 balls collectively ushering the Botswana team to score 56 runs out of the 24.2 overs. 

A seasoned Nigerian player came on to chase the target relying only on the partnership between, Pam Paul and Selim Salam to round the game with 58 runs without losing any wicket in 10.5 votes. 

Nigeria will face Sierra Leon come Tuesday in the group B finals. 

Six countries are currently competing in the qualifiers with the top three teams in a struggle for the next stage of the world cup qualifiers.
