British legend boxer, Tyson Fury has regained his world champion status on Saturday after he beats up Deonty Wilder in the 7th round of his game.

In one of boxing’s most anticipated rematches in a year, Fury kicked out Wilder in their seventh round at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

Concurrently, that effort regained him the WBC world heavyweight title.

Recall, Wilder had knocked down Fury twice en route to a draw in December 2018, but it was Fury who forced referee Kenny Bayless and Wilder’s corner to put a stop to the rematch on Saturday.

Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) knocked down Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) in the third and fifth rounds, and a bloodied, shaky Wilder could not fight back in the decisive seventh round, making him the loser.

For years, Fury has been unofficially the lineal champion having been stripped of titles he won against Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 but he has returned officially.

Wilder is also losing for the first time in his carrier as a boxer.
