World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, has boasted that he will knock Anthony Joshua out when their long-anticipated fight finally takes place. ‎

Wilder is now unbeaten in 40 fights after stopping Luis Ortiz in round 10 via knockout in Brooklyn on Saturday. He has knocked out every man he has ever faced.

The WBC champion has regularly called out Anthony Joshua, who holds the International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organisation (IBO) and World Boxing Association (WBA) belts, for a super-fight.

Before any thought of a fight between Joshua and Wilder will become a reality, the British-born Nigerian heavyweight boxer will first face World Boxing Organisation (WBO) heavyweight champion, Joseph Parker, on March 31 in Cardiff.

According to Talk Sport, Wilder who is known as the Bronze Bomber told Sports Bar that he will be too strong for Joshua, and will knock him out.

“I’m going to take the baddest man in the division!” Wilder said.

“It’s just like going to prison when you want to find the toughest man in there to show, to get him to go at you.

“You got to let him know in the prison – I come in peace.

“But, if you break this peace, I will show you when I come in the division and get the toughest man in the division.

“And not only do I win, but I knock him out.

“This is the fight, the biggest fight of our lives, the biggest fight of this history!

“It’s going to happen, all they got to do is make the fight.”

And commenting on Joshua’s fight with Parker, Wilder said:“It’s short and simple,” he said.

“Good luck on March 31, hope you prevail.

“Let’s give the world what they have been waiting for. Let’s give the world an epic fight, one that’s going to be in the history books for years and years to come.

“One that the next generation and the next generation will be talking about because it was just that great.

“That even the generations before talked about it in the past generations – something that can live on forever.”
