I Want To Beat Anthony Joshua In Nigeria - Tyson Fury

Yesterday, the British boxer and former heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury says he wants to face Joshua in Nigeria not Wembley. Dailypost, quoted as saying

“It may not be at Wembley, the fight might be in Nigeria in Lagos. I’ve heard they’ve got an 180,000-seater there. So considering I’m the ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ now then we’ll go over there"

On the recent fight between Joshua and Klitschko, Fury said Joshua won because his opponent was indecisive especially in round three where Joshua's feet were wobbling, failing to throw a single punch. “Klitschko let him off the hook and started boxing – I don’t know what he was doing. AJ never threw a punch for three rounds and was wobbling on his feet and Klitschko was just looking at him (like) ‘Shall I knock him out or not’?”

He described the match as "not so good for boxers". "It was exciting for a boxing fan, but not so good for an actual boxer taking lots of punishment getting bounced off the canvas. It was good for me because he got the best result; he got a lot of mileage out on the clock and got the win to save my money in the bank"

Joshua had earlier described Fury's win over Klitschko as boring accusing him of deliberately sabotaging the excitement of the clash. ‘He didn’t throw a punch. He didn’t come to fight; He just walked around the ring for like 12 rounds, it’s boring. It’s not winning"

‘His stock didn’t rise. Your stock has got to rise and he could have had the better win, but when people look at it, many years after, ask them whose fight they will remember.’ He added.

Responding, Fury took to his Instagram page and posted "Better to win and be boring than getting dropped all over the floor and scraping a win. I never got punched; you got carried off the canvas nearly. But winning is winning whether you win by an inch or a mile. It's still winning and I still won."Let's get it on then. I don't need no warm-up fights."
