Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho has disclosed his readiness to bring Gareth Bale to Old Trafford if Real Madrid agree to release the player before the close of the summer transfer window. The "Special One" who stated this at a news conference ahead of Super Cup clash with Real Madrid hinted that Bale's arrival will depend on the team list that Real Madrid will present in the Super Cup.

According to him, if Zidane features him, then it will be safe to conclude that he is in his plan for next season and that will make a possible move for the player difficult.

"Well if [Bale is] playing tomorrow, no I wouldn't think of that, it's because he's in the coach's plans and the club's plans, because he also has that motivation to continue at Real Madrid. So I haven't even thought about the possibility.

"If he is not in the club's plans, that -- with the arrival of another player -- would mean he was on his way out. I will try to be waiting for him on the other side and fight with other coaches that would want him on their team. But if he plays, that is the best confirmation that he is wanted by the team."

Several reports had emerged that Real Madrid was considering laying off Bale in order to lure Mbappe from Monaco. Meanwhile, Zidane declined to comment on the exit of the Welsh international this summer.

"Bale is a Madrid player. That is all I can say. What I want to talk to you about now is an important match. Him, me, all the players and the fans are here for the match. That is all I can say."
