Barcelona target, Ousmane Dembele on Thursday missed Dortmund first-training amidst speculation that he has reached a personal agreement with Barcelona to join the Spanish giant. Dortmund Manager, Peter Bosz who confirmed the development to Skysports claimed that he was unaware of the player's whereabouts. According to him, the club made attempts to reach him on phone but to no avail.

"Dembele wasn't at training today. I have no idea why he wasn't there. We tried to reach him but couldn't". The Manager stated that he would wait for the player to officially explain why he stayed away from training since he was not given permission to do so. He, however, enthused that nothing serious had happened.

"First I have to talk to Dembele, then he has to explain to me why he wasn't here today. I hope nothing serious happened."

Last season, the 20-year-old French International scored a total of 10 goals in 49 appearances after joining Dortmund from Rennes in a deal worth £13m.

Barcelona is closing in on the midfielder as they seek a replacement for Neymar who has joined Paris Saint Germain (PSG) for a world record fee.
