Liverpool have again rejected an improved bid from Barcelona for the signing of Brazilian international, Philippe Coutinho. The club insist that the player is not for sale. According to ESPN, the Spanish giant saw their latest offer of €100 million dismissed by Liverpool. Barcelona had earlier made an offer of €85m and then €15m in add-ons before the latest offer.

Liverpool on Thursday discountenanced media reports that Coutinho and the club had reached an agreement with Barcelona stressing that the matter had since been closed.

Coutinho renewed his contract in January and is tied to Anfield till 2022.

Sources claimed that Barcelona are eager to replace Neymar who moved to PSG in a record deal and the Club see his compatriot as a perfect replacement.
