Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, and Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement that would see the France international join Los Blancos next summer on a free transfer and earn a mind-boggling €50m (£41.5m) a year.

The former Monaco ace is set to be the highest-paid player in the world, however, he will have to wait till the summer of 2022 when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires on the 30th of June.

Mbappe’s contract would see him paid around €137,000 (£114,100) each day, or to break it down even further, around €1.58 (£1.32) every single second.

The deal between the 23-year-old and Real Madrid will not be made official until after the Champions League last-16 tie between his current and future club.

The French club travel to the Bernabeu on February 15 before the reverse fixture at the Parc des Princes on March 9.
