Russian Billionaire and Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has reportedly invited Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourihno to dinner on Sunday evening after a crucial encounter between both clubs at Stanford Bridge. Jose Mourihno who has coached Chelsea twice is currently in London with Manchester United as he seeks to keep his title chase alive by closing the gap between his team and league leaders, Manchester City.

According to The Sun, Abramovich hopes to meet up with Mourinho after Sunday’s match – though it is not yet known if Mourinho, who was sacked twice by the Russian billionaire, accepted the invite. The report explained that the invite comes at a rather curious time, with current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte under increasing pressure amid rumours of fallout.

Abramovich made a rare visit to the club’s training ground to talk with Conte last Sunday, while it has been reported that the Italian’s conduct over the summer erased any good will between him and Chelsea’s hierarchy.

Specifically, the report stated that Abramovich was not happy with the way Conte handled Diego Costa's transfer saga. He described the famous text message sent by Conte to Costa as an 'insult' and even complained that the poor handling of the issue cost the Club huge financial lost.
