Intel has announced a new series of 8th generation Core processors with AMD Radeon RX Vega M graphics. This is a in collaboration between Intel CPU division the graphics division at AMD, something no one really saw coming. This new series of processors is designed for use within integrated systems, such as AIOs, notebooks and NUCs.

Gaming addiction which is prevalent among mostly youths is to be listed as a mental health condition for the first time by the World Health Organisation.

Its 11th International Classification of Diseases (ICD) will include the condition "gaming disorder".

The draft document describes it as a pattern of persistent or recurrent gaming behaviour so severe that it takes "precedence over other life interests".

Some countries had already identified it as a major public health issue.

Apple Tenders Apology For Slowing Iphones, Proffer Discounted Batteries

Apple on Thursday tendered an unreserved apology to its customers for slowing down the performance of older iPhone models and said it would cut down the price of replacement batteries for some of its handsets.

Apple Inc will release a patch for the Safari web browser on its iPhones, iPads and Macs within days, it said on Thursday, after major chipmakers disclosed flaws that leave nearly every modern computing device vulnerable to hackers, according to reports from Reuters. Browser makers Google, Microsoft Corp and Mozilla Corp’s Firefox all confirmed to Reuters that the patches they currently have in place do not protect iOS users.

As reported by USA Today, Apple iPhone lead the race last year as well. The current 2017 rankings doesn't include only one iPhone model but all three of them combined - iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. The Apple iPhone (223 million) is followed by the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy S8 flagship smartphones with 33 million. Amazon Echo Dot, Apple Watch and the Nintendo Switch came at third, fourth and fifth place with 24 million, 20 million and 15 million unit sales, according to the analytics company.

Apple’s iMac Pro has begun arriving early for some customers who ordered it quickly, but it’s still not yet available for in-store pick up at Apple retail locations. Certain Best Buy locations, however, show the iMac Pro as being in stock for in-store pickup today. Apple’s base model iMac Pro with an 8-core Xeon W Processor is the only model currently available at Best Buy stores, and it’s available today in some locations.
