PayPal Launches Crypto Buying, Selling In The UK

PayPal Holdings Inc, an online payments system has expanded its services, introducing buying, selling, and holding of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to its customers in the UK. The service expansion in the UK by the American financial technology company will start this week, allowing users to buy bitcoin, ether, litecoin, and bitcoin cash through their PayPal wallets online and on their mobile apps.


PayPal launched its crypto services in the United States earlier this year, allowing its users to use their digital coins to shop using its payment system.


“We are committed to continue working closely with regulators in the UK, and around the world, to offer our support— and meaningfully contribute to shaping the role

Meanwhile, Companies like Coinbase Global and Fintech start-ups like Revolt already carry out these services in the UK.
