Tech giant Twitter under the guidance of Parag Agrawal has stated that the Social-media platform will henceforth remove private media when it is reported by a person depicted or authorized representative.

Adding to its list of private information policies, the Social-media platform is stepping in as users will no longer be able to share private media, such as photos and videos, of another person without their permission, a move aimed at improving privacy and security.

However, the restriction does not apply to public figures whose media appearances and tweets are of public interest, but information depicting them may be removed if the company believes it was published to intimidate, harass, or use fear to silence them.
