The popular instant messaging platform, WhatsApp has announced it will introduce a new feature called Message Yourself which allows users of WhatsApp to send messages to their own accounts. WhatsApp stated the new feature would be useful for to-do-list, reminders or draft messages meant to be sent later, adding that the message can also be pinned and archived.

According to the company, users’ contact will be at the top of their WhatsApp contact list when they create a new chat and they can send messages to themselves by clicking on their contact.

The company also disclosed that the new feature is expected to be released globally in the following weeks for both Android and iOS users.
