Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu has disclosed that the country requires about $1.2 billion (N377.7bn) to effect repairs of three refineries owned by the NNPC. Kachikwu made this known on Thursday in Abuja while interacting with newsmen.

Popular human rights lawyer, Mike Ozekhome has vowed to drag President Muhammadu Buhari to Court if he fails to make public, records of all recovered loots by the various Anti-Graft Agencies as well as security agencies. The Minister of Power Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) has disclosed that about 340 Mega watts of electricity will be generated and added to the National grid for onward distribution to consumers before the end of December, 2017. The Minister gave the hint on Thursday in Rivers State during an inspection tour of Afam Power Plant.
