Paris 2024: Super Falcons Vs Bayana Bayana Clash Date Confirmed

The Confederation of African Football CAF, has confirmed dates for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers between the Nigeria Super Falcons and Banyana Banyana of South Africa. Accordingly, the first leg is slated to hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday, April 5. However, date for the reverse fixture will take on Tuesday, April 9 at a yet to be identified venue. Meanwhile, the Algerian referee Ghada Mehat will take charge of the first leg at the Nigerian stadium. 


It was also learned that, Mehat’s compatriots Asma Feriel Ouahab and Lamia Atman will be in the roles of assistant referee 1 and fourth official respectively, while Mariem Cheddad from Mauritania will serve as assistant referee 2. 

Senegalese Fadouma Dia, a former FIFA referee, will be referee assessor while Ghanaian Chrstine Ziga will serve as commissioner. 

Conversely, f or the reverse fixture, Tunisia’s Dorsaf Ganouati will be at the centre. 

She will be assisted by compatriots Houda Afine (assistant referee 1) and Emna Ajbouni (fourth official) with Egyptian Yara Atef Abdelfattah as assistant referee 2. 

At the end, the overall winners of the match will secure a place at the 2024 Olympic Games.
