Police in Lagos have apprehended two of the suspected robbers that invaded the home of popular Nigerian Comic Actor, John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu during the weekend.

According to report, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent, Chike Oti confirmed the arrest and that the two suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), for further investigation.

The Federal Government has assured Nigerians in all parts of the country that it will not condone further attacks by herdsmen. Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd), gave the assurance on Monday at a meeting with some state governors in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Security analyst and retired military officer, Col Hassan Stan Labo (rtd) has described the menace of Boko Haram as worse than the activities of Boko Haram in the North East. Labo who stated this on Thursday when he appeared on Channels Television programme, 'Politics Today' called on the Federal Government to urgently wade into the matter or expect its degeneration in the coming months.

President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration will investigate and bring to book all perpetrators of mayhem across the country. President Buhari spoke on Tuesday at separate meetings with the Qadiriyya Muslim Movement in Africa and the Izalatul-Bid’a-Wa-Iqamatus-Sunnah at the State House, Abuja.
