The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting behind closed doors with members of the National Economic Council Committee on Pastoralist/Farmers Clash, comprising some state governors. The meeting is aimed at fashioning out modalities to end the increasing cases of herdsmen attacks across parts of the country.
The meeting which is taking place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, has the governors of Zamfara, Kaduna, Plateau, Adamawa, and Ebonyi in attendance. The deputy governors of Oyo and Benue states are also in attendance.
