The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted 23 computer-based test (CBT) centers across 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as a result of technical glitches recorded during the 2026 mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education (NCAOOSCE) yesterday disclosed that 700,000 out-of-school children in Nigeria have been identified. This was revealed by Dr. Muhammad Idris, Executive Secretary of NCAOOSCE, at the inaugural Benue Basic Education Summit in Makurdi, which was organized by the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) in association with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), the NCAOOSCE, and Universal Learning Solutions (ULS).

The Students of Federal University, Lokoja, on Friday, 30th January, 2026, were urged by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, to attend lectures consistently, warning that those with less than 75 percent attendance in class would be barred from sitting for any examinations at the university.
