Digital solutions company Globacom, has teamed up with Samsung, a top electronics brand, to give Glo users a special chance to pre-order the much-wanted Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 smartphones. Anyone who pre-orders these stylish phones will receive 18GB of free data from Globaco, along with gift items worth up to N1.2 million. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, which come with a new design, powerful cameras, and smart AI features, were launched by both companies during a masterclass held at Globacom's headquarters on Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was attended by top Glo customers, invited guests, journalists, and staff from both companies.
Pre-orders for the Fold 7, known as "the thinnest and lightest in the series to date," and the Flip 7, which had "a larger cover screen and enhanced Flex Window usability with Galaxy AI," began at the event. Many Glo customers placed orders right away.
At the event, Samsung’s Head of Product Marketing, Stephen Okwarah, talked about the strong partnership between Samsung and Globacom. He said Globacom has always helped Samsung get “good numbers in terms of sales orders from subscribers.” He also highlighted the amazing features of the new phones for people who want to “upgrade their current phones or who want to switch to the new devices.”
Earlier, Abdulrazaq Ande, Globacom’s Head of Division (West), said the two phones “represent the cutting edge of mobile innovation,” and that Globacom is “proud to make them available exclusively at Glo retail outlets across Nigeria.”
He added that working with Samsung to launch these phones “also reflects our broader commitment to innovation.” He said, “With our fiber-optic expansion, and smart solutions for homes and businesses, Globacom is building the future of digital life in Nigeria, and we’re doing it with world-class partners.”
He encouraged smart tech lovers to visit any Gloworld store to pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7.
Some wealthy customers who already pre-ordered the phones also won gift items in a lucky dip. The grand prize, a 55-inch Samsung QLED TV, was won by Idowu Emmanuel, a telecom products seller in Lagos.
