Barcelona has been able to secure Marcus Rashford’s registration with LaLiga ahead of their opening fixture on Saturday. The Spanish champions earlier today confirmed Rashford will be in their lineup to face Mallorca. Commenting ahead of the clash, Hansi Flick, the Barca manager, said he was not happy with the atmosphere that was full of uncertainty.
In the end, the Catalans wrapped up deals on Friday, which has helped to create the salary space to accommodate Rashford.
Barcelona has transferred the remaining 50% of Francisco Trincão’s rights to Sporting CP for €11 million.
Meanwhile, Jules Koundé has signed a new contract that saw the amortisation payments on the €55m transfer fee spread over three more years.
Rashford joined Catalans on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United last month.
