Five among the patients who were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus has been released after a repeated test carried on them showed negative on Monday 30th March 2020 after receiving treatment at the infectious Diseases Hospital Lagos.
The discharged patients include three Nigerians and two foreign nationals. Before now, three patients not excluding the Italian case and two other Nigerians had been treated and discharged from the Lagos facility, bringing the total numbers of recoveries in Nigeria to eight.
Lagos being the epicentre of the Coronavirus in Nigeria, with 68 cases of those infected with the virus out of the 111 cases recorded in Nigeria as at today.
