Nigeria has on Wednesday recorded a total of 111 new infections of the coronavirus, bringing the cases of infections in the country to 57,724, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said.
However, there are 7,637 active cases in Nigeria while 48,985 people have recovered across the country and 1,102 have died after two deaths were recorded on Wednesday.
The new cases recorded in 11 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) include Lagos with 31 cases, Gombe and Kaduna had 18 cases each, FCT recorded 15 cases, while Rivers had 14 cases. Imo, Kwara, and Oyo recorded 3 cases each with Bayelsa and Ogun recording 2 cases each, while Edo and Osun had 1 case each.
