As part of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities, President Bola Tinubu on Saturday hosted former Delta State Governor James Ibori, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Abubakar Bagudu, and billionaire industrialist Razak Okoya, along with his wife Shade and their son, at his Lagos residence. The visits were part of Tinubu’s Sallah celebrations in Lagos, where he has been based since May 27. During his time in the state, the president also attended the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and inaugurated multiple development projects.
The president is scheduled to return to the Federal Capital Territory after the conclusion of the Sallah celebrations.
In his Eid message, Tinubu urged Nigerians to pray for continued peace and stability, reaffirming his commitment to unity and national progress. He also acknowledged the sacrifices made by citizens in the past year, emphasizing that his administration remains dedicated to ensuring the social, economic, and physical well-being of all Nigerians while laying a strong foundation for future growth.
