Former Manchester United player, Ryan Giggs has been confirmed as the new manager of Wales National Football team following the exit of Chris Coleman, the current manager of Sunderland. Giggs who was appointed in a four-year contract would now superintend over the team after Coleman failed to qualify the country for the Russia 2018 World Cup.

Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs has been interviewed for the vacant Wales manager job, according to reports. Giggs remains the favourite to succeed Coleman and return to football 18 months after leaving his coaching role at Manchester United. But Craig Bellamy and Coleman's former assistant Osian Roberts are also in contention for the position, with the Football Association of Wales keen on appointing a Welshman.
