Cape Verde has become the first country at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to qualify for the knockout out stage officially after weeping Mozambique 3-0 this evening. The small island country crushed Mozambique 3-0 today to validate their progress in the tournamentt. Bebe opened the scoring with a cracking free-kick from over 30 yards in the 32nd minute after the game commences.
Ryan Mendes and Kevin Pina netted more goals in the second half to seal their win of the 3-0 against their opponent.
With this record, the country Cape Verde has pushed itself up to six points, after they beat Ghana in their opening fixture.
They are the only team in the competition to record two wins so far.
