Super Eagles suffered a major setback ahead of their African Cup of Nations campaign with midfielder Wilfred Ndidi ruled out of the tournament in Ivory Coast. The midfielder sustained injury while playing for his Club, Leicester City.
After series of medical checks, the results shows Ndidi won’t be able to recover within the period of the tournament.
Therefore, Alhassan has been called to replace Ndidi in the Super Eagles camp.
