Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has seen off competition from the likes of Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho to be crowned football coach of the decade.
International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) named Simeone manager of the decade after amassing a total of 152 points besting rivals Pep Guardiola who has 144 points and Jurgen Klopp third on 105 points. The result was determined by every manager's ranking each year between 2011 and 2020, with points assigned based on their yearly finishes.
In over 500 games, the 50-year-old Argentine has transformed Atletico Madrid to both Spanish and European powerhouse in that period and has won silverware first as a player and a manager.
