Chelsea player, Kai Havertz has warned his teammates that qualifying for the next round of the FA cup is a must that cannot be thrown away as thinking of a second chance in the competition will be a mirage. Chelsea is slated to host Sheffield United in the FA Cup quarter-final slated at Stamford Bridge this afternoon. However, Havertz is optimistic that the Blues are in a vantage position to qualify for the semi-finals, stating that his ambition is to take the FA medal home this season. He said, “It’s a big ambition of mine to win trophies at Chelsea,” Havertz said as quoted by Chelsea’s official website.
“When you play for Chelsea, you always want to win trophies. We are in a very good position, but there is a long way in front of us.
Havertz explained that “We have to go into every game like it’s a final. There’s no second chance, we have to win this game to get through to the next round.
The star player added that he hopes the Blues will have a good Sunday today as they get ready for the next round.
